The Division of Digital Learning at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is excited to invite proposals for the third Digital Learning Summit, where innovators will gather to explore the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of digital learning. This year’s theme, Choosing Agility: Adapting to a New Era of Innovation in Digital Learning, focuses on how to be agile when adapting to innovations and new technologies that are transforming the higher education landscape. We invite proposals from faculty, librarians, instructional designers, administrators, digital learning staff, students, and others in the digital learning community. Presentations will be virtual, using the conference platform Cvent.

Institutions are invited to host collaborative Idea Exchanges at their campuses using provided facilitator resources, such as interactive activities and discussion prompts. Details will be shared at a later date.

Session Topics

We invite session proposals related to the following topics:

AI in Action: Day-to-Day Applications – This topic explores the integration of AI into everyday institutional practices. Sessions will focus on the practical applications of AI in daily teaching, learning, student success, and administrative processes.

It will explore how innovations such as virtual reality, holograms, simulations, and others are being used in educational settings, offering new dimensions of learning and engagement.
