The Division of Digital Learning at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is excited to host the fourth Digital Learning Summit, where thought leaders, educators, and innovators will gather to explore the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of digital learning.
This year’s theme, The Power of Practice: Transforming Experience into Innovation, centers on cultivating agile, innovation-driven approaches that support student persistence, timely completion of credentials of value, and seamless transitions into high-demand careers—advancing the goals of Building a Talent Strong Texas by ensuring credentials are meaningful, accessible, and economically transformative for all Texans.
The Summit will feature engaging virtual sessions to allow participants to collaborate and network with practitioners from institutions of higher education across Texas. In addition, institutions will be invited to host collaborative Idea Exchanges at their campuses using provided facilitator resources, such as interactive activities and discussion prompts.
The Call for Proposals will be opening soon!
Host an Idea Exchange
To enhance the virtual summit experience, institutions are invited to host live campus Idea Exchanges. These onsite events are as simple as a small gathering of like-minded peers, as large as a conference hall, or something in between. The Idea Exchanges are intended to offer a dynamic platform to extend discussions from thought-provoking sessions, exchange ideas sparked by summit content, and sharing insights on digital innovation.
